I need to get back to editing shit, I just lack motivation. But I still support the channels I like. Yours is one, Flickering Box and Cliff Beats are two other major ones I support. I was actually shocked when I checked my analytics a month or so ago, and found that an older video I posted now has over 250,000 views. A "re-edit" of an old 1978 Battlestar Galactica battle scene that I simply reposted from somewhere else (I did give credit where it was due). My second channel was JUST starting to take off when my PC died on me a year and a half ago, and that is what really took the wind out of my sails. |

If something is REALLY interesting to me, I'll watch videos that are multiple hours long. Gaming wise, Cliff Beats does his gaming stream on YouTube for a few hours several times a week, BUT, it's "live", and there's a "live chat" going on... so I'm more involved in that portion of it. So, there's "my" engagement. It's a fun community, and I enjoy that. He also interacts with the chat here and there... so it's fun. Also, I just checked my analytics on that Battlestar Galactica video, and here's what it showed: Battlestar Galactica remade battle Total Views: 235,153 Watch minutes: 7,393.2 New Subscribers: 369 That's "total", but it's also still had some in the last month, so it's still getting people's attention. That was totally unplanned. But definitely DO create a thread about favorite channels. Like I said, I have a few that I "cross-promote" to each other, because I think they share an audience. As a "Star Wars Loremaster", I like to find new Star Wars fans, and without giving out spoilers, at least help point them to things they might otherwise miss. I get good engagement there, and I find it rather fun to do. |

| Ignorant_FloristDaycare Manager Pipebomb Monkey P: 01/12/2024 07:42 | Ah, well.... it was funny. Both Fluffo and I ran our events at the same time, resulting in 4 events at the same time. I got "Lag/Spamfest" and something else, and Fluffo got "No Grenades" and something else. I have it recorded, but I had moved from Spectating the bridge to outside of a Main Respawn when someone said "No Grenades?! WTF?!" or something like that. Of ALL times to get a "no grenades" event, when almost everyone is on the bridge for Lag/Spamfest.... I'll go back and watch what I recorded, and see how much of it I have. For the record, each Admin can run up to 2 events when the team score differential reaches 2 caps. The score was 20-0, and we both hit our binds at the same time. Also, I figured out how to do a "Livestream" on YouTube when on the server.... so this might become a weekly thing. I didn't realize that I crossed into 3 hours until I looked a few minutes ago. I spec'd some, played some, and FF was on for a while. I honestly enjoyed doing the stream, and kinda wish I had figured this out a while back.
