I think a big complaint among the community is that CS:GO got canned in place by counter-strike 2. From what I gather, there are subtle but noticeable differences. Better graphics notwithstanding, I feel the original gameplay of counter-strike is more appealing. There may be a nostalgia bias there speaking. Even the pre-steam CS or before whatever update they did in steam... they did something to CS where the recoil and crosshair alignment isn't the same. I was such a CS fanboy to the extent that I made a custom map for it. |
