After I told you about it yesterday, I was only able to get into the forums once after that until this morning https://i.imgur.com/4FyUsNK.jpg This has been happening for periods of time daily for the past several months |

9x P: 04/02/2021 14:58 | Is it only on drippys? Could be a cache issue with the domain name and your dns. You could try this in command prompt, you may have to be in administrator mode though. Type "ipconfig /flushdns" and press Enter. Type "ipconfig /registerdns" and press Enter. Type "ipconfig /release" and press Enter. Type "ipconfig /renew" and press Enter. Type "netsh winsock reset" and press Enter. Restart the computer. That is something simple and might resolve your on going issue. |

9x P: 04/03/2021 00:35 | i would argue with you but i just dont have the time. |
angry_saladSuper Regular Medic Capping Service P: 04/03/2021 22:17 | Indeed. You'd most likely have to perform some mental gymnastics to explain the rationale behind refreshing an IP address and registering it in DNS. More so when you next release and renew the DHCP address, again. A /flushdns would have sufficed for a forward lookup issue. |

DHCP provides dns servers usually, so refreshing that might help when theres a problem with resolving DNS. The error is NXDOMAIN (no such domain), meaning it couldn't resolve the domain, and both the lunaticrage.com dns servers look to be working fine to me. |

I could have been more clear but I was pointing out /release and /renew were redundant steps after /registerdns as all DHCP addresses get refreshed already. |
